Letter fro Trustee

What is the name of your state? CA

Just received my initial letter from Trustee. Can someone verify the date in which I need to make my 1st payment? The letter reads:

"...make your 1st pmyt to this office within 30 days of the filing of your plan, or not later than 45 days from the date your bankruptcy was filed, whichever is sooner. Your bankruptcy was filed on 12-24-03."

Is my first pmt due 1-24-04, or 2-8-04?

depends on when you filed your plan (not case).

if you filed your plan the date you filed or up to around 14 after, then it's 30 from the date the plan was filed.

if you filed your plan 15 days or more after you filed your case, then it's 45 days from date of filing case.
