What is the name of your state?tn, A landlord wants to take one to court for breaking a lease, says its a binding contract, my question to you here is, The LL put the wrong lease ending date on contract, so is it still a legal bond or will the court overlook in LL favor. (this is a first time LL too, in a house lease)

If the lease ending date is void, the rest of the lease is still probably good.

In fact, if it is a well-written lease, there will be a clause that says if part of it is found to be bad, it will be severable, meaning the good parts remain after the bad parts go away.

Just a guess....
