What is the name of your state? Florida

I am not currently in a rental agreement but my fiance and I are looking for a house to rent in Florida. We would prefer to find a month to month rental because there is a possibility that we will have to move with his job but his company will only give him a 24hr notice. He would have to go to wherever they send him first and then I would follow later but our question is would we be able to get out of a rental agreement (lease) with a letter of transfer from his company?
