liability in gocart accident

we live in florida, my girlfriends son (19) and his friend also 19 borrowed my go cart with my consent. prior to them taking it off the property I told them "be careful, don't go fast, it is not made to take jumps". approximately 20 minutes later her son pulls up ans says his friend broke his arm while going around and enbankment. the man is in the hospital now after having surgery. am I liable?
