Hi,
the tenants did some modifications on the house that the landlord knew of but did nothing about. He has no pictures of the before the modifications were done. The tenant has all the receipts and contracts for the modification they or someone did for them. Can they sue before and after the lease is up to make the landlord pay for the modifications they did? In my opinion, they were not necessary repairs. thanks.

liable or not?

Would it be a toss of if I am a licensed contractor. I know how to do my own repairs. They are the ones that tore down the old modifications I made and put up there own or hired somebody to do it b/c they did not like what I did. The problem: No pictures before they did the modifications. Also, would it be a problem because I have done nothing about it yet.
