What is the name of your state? Florida

My wife swore out a restraining order against me in with she made 13 false statement from drug abuse to acusations of me staking her with numerous phone calls. All these false statements can be proven untrue and is a effect to block me from seeing our children. At the court hearing My than attorney made arrangements to extend the retrianing order the or divirce hearing which can be a while. This attorney did not inform me what the hearing would be about or that my wife had the burden of proof. I was told by her ( the attorney) this was the best way to see my kids and I both it. I was told I can't go back to prove my wifes statements as lies. Can I sue for libel? Is there nothing I can do to reverse this?

Q: Can I sue for libel?
A: No, statements made in a police report are absolutely privileged, even if they are lies.

Q: Is there nothing I can do to reverse this?
A: Appeal the decision.

I was told it was to late to appeal. Is that true?
You cannot sit on your rights. If you've waited too long to appeal, then you didn't want to appeal.

Hey Senior Judge, get off your high horse and answer the Question. Some of us get bad advice from bad attorneys that prevent us few who hire them from acting approperatly. Thats just a fact of life. There are plenty of bad attorney';s out there who cannot admit when they are wrong. Please just answer. Thats why we all are here.
