undefinedWhat is the name of your state?Iowa
Hi, I've got a very important question to ask, 2 or 3 weeks ago my name was mentioned in a cover story of a major national magazine. It was about the Meth epedimic and my name was mentioned by the magazine and not in a good way at all. There are unfactual statements about me and alot of in my opionion pointing the finger at me as the reason how the meth epidemic spread throughout there county and the whole state in general. Yes there are a few true facts concerning my conviction with the federal government but did that have to be announced to the whole world??? This really upsets me and before I call a lawyer I would like to get some advice on what to do and if I have a case at all for suing the magazine. Thank-you and God Bless

To sue a publication for libel, you must prove intent and that the report was factually false and that the publication KNEW or had reason to KNOW.

From what you posted here, the best thing you can do is move on and forget it.
