What is the name of your state? Louisiana

My ex-fiancee posted something on the internet that claims I am "crazy", "psycho", and that "I tried to kill him". None of these claims is true, and I feel pressured to take legal action to protect myself. Any advice? Is this libel?

There are thousands of posts similar to yours so I have prepared a standard answer:

Get a lawyer.

Invest $20K and three years.

Sue the bad people for defamation.

If you win, expect them to keep doing it.

If you lose, expect them to keep doing it.

If he posted his defamatory material about you on the internet, then you could try sending an email to the ISP to inform them of the defamation. Although the ISP is not liable for defamatory posts of its members, the ISP may be willing to delete such defamatory material if you can convince them that your ex-fiancee has falsely accused you of a felony on their webspace.

Just a thought...
