What is the name of your state? Arizona

I was on a public internet blog and I typed something that I thought was funny at the time. It was a "punch below the belt" directed at two public defenders (public officials) It was more of an insult than anything else. I did not intend it to cause harm. Once I realized that people were offended by what I said I issued a sincere apology to any/all who were offended by my "stupid" comment. The comment was "The reason A and B don't get the job done is because they are too busy chasing hookers and snorting coke. I realize that this was a harsh statement (but I really only meant it as a joke since they are public defenders and they are in the job of defending people who do those things) and as I said I apologized for it. I had several people tell me that it was libel and I could be sued. I never even thought of it as libel until it was pointed out to me. I am extremely concerned about this. I don't have much and I sure as hell don't want to lose what little I have. I am losing sleep over this thing. Please help.....Chicken Little with a big mouth.:(
