Hello All,
I am an Illinois resident and purchased an item from Ebay. One seller in particular, Wyomingben, as a practice immediately posts negative feedback about you in retaliation for your posting about them. Phrases such as "would not sell to again" or "sellers beware" are the common themes.

The details of this specific issue are that I purchased and item from them and paid immediately. 2 months later and nothing has shown up. Looking at the BBB in Wyoming (12 reports in the last year) and the number of individuals faced with never receiving items and having negative feedback, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident. There is a website devoted to getting them shut down.

I would like the negative feedback removed as there are no grounds for thier comments. Anything I can do?

Call e-bay and stomp your feet and hold your breath until you either turn blue or they remove the post.

If you hold your breath past turning blue, EXHALE!

Just getting over my head rush from turning blue...thanks.

Ebay does not get involved. They have an outside source that charges to have the feedback removed. Something like $20.00 (kind of a crime in iteself isn't it?). Anyway, it appears that Wyomingben has been operating in this manner for a good long time and there is basically nothing that can be done to stop them. I thought if they posted negative comments for the world to see they would have to have something to substantiate their claims.

And that's the problem. Nowhere in your post has this person made 'claims'. All you have posted here is their opinion. And opinion is not actionable.

Forget it and bid on :D

Hi there, No matter how many neg fb the seller has ebay will not suspend them, the buyer needs to file a NPS (non performing seller) once the seller gets a total of 4 of these, then they will be suspended. Neg Fb does nothing, only filing the correct reports do. If you do not file the report then he can continue selling.

You probably can't get the negative removed, but be satisfied in that he is no longer a registered user on eBay.
