What is the name of your state?Virginia. I recently got ripped off on a guitar purchased through ebay. The seller is a professional christian musician. The guitar was to be like new, great playing and sounding. In fact the guitar turned out to be a plastic piece of junk and unplayable. I tried usuccesfully to work it out with the seller. The seller originally left me positive feedback. After I filed the appropriate dispute provided by ebay including a statement from a proffessinal in the guitar business with over 25yrs of experience. Stating that the guitar was in fact unplayable. The seller then posted a follow up to his feedback in which he used my name in the public forum which is a violation of ebay policy. His post was as following I am leaving out my name here: "(my name)is very sick and can not be trusted. He has problems with telling the truth. The fact is I am very sick due to Multiple Sclerosis although I do not believe that this is what he was talking about. I have proof in the form of evidence that his statement against me is completely false! On ebay your reputation is EVERYTHING. Being disabled and on a fixed income I need every extra penny that I get using ebay.Up to this point my feedback was completely unblemished. 100% He made an intentional and false statement with the intent to harm me financialy and I can prove it! Do I have a case and how can I file?
