I live in Wisconsin, and this post may be a little long. I won an auction on ebay, at the end of the auction I recieved an email stating that the item was stolen do not pay. I sent a reply stating that I would like to see a police report. They replied with they know who stole it and did not file one. To try and make a long story short, they left a negative feedback. This is the exact feedback "BAD PERSON, never paid for it, Seems to think the world owes her something. LIAR" To get this removed I must have a court document saying I won a liable case. I have all the emails recieved and sent. What would my chances be on winning a libel case?

That depends on a lot of factors, none of which appear in your post.

So I know in the future what factors have to be involved to win a successful suit? I don't know a lot about this kind of situation. Which of course sends me into a flurry of searching to find an answer. Thanks for any info that you send my way...............
