I went through great lengths to get my children into a good school.
We were told that we absolutely HAD TO LIVE IN THAT SCHOOL DISTRICT
TO GO TO THAT SCHOOL.
It was VERY HARD If not impossible to get a place to live
in the good school district.
Finally we found some land for sale and put a double wide there
For the School District Laws sake and got them In the school.
We sold our other home.

Now we found out there are lots of kids who Do Not live
in that school district. Even New students in my childs same grade
coming in who Do Not Live In That School District.
We called the School Board and they told us
they have to Clear It with another school board to go to that school
if they don't live in that school district.
Well I KNOW for a fact those students Did Not Clear it with
the school board to go to that school. They just moved out of the school district
and didn't report the move and still send their kids there.

I'm angry because I went through alot of trouble
and harassment every day to get my kids in that school district
because they asked me every day what my address was
and even drove by my residence to make sure I live here.
I feel like we have been treated unfairly in the matter. They are obviously not
checking out others like they did us.
Someone Even went as far as to make a False Report against us
saying we did not live in that school district when we did.
Others Do Not Live In the school district and they don't care about that
and don't check out others.

Are There School District Laws Or Not??????

So you are legally living in the school district and your kids are going to the school where they should be.

Did you have a legal question for us?

Did I have a legal question?

What can be done about the ones in school
who do not live in that school district?

Are there school district laws?

If so, then I would assume the law applies to everyone
not just me.

You teach all those kids a lesson they will never forget.

Type out exactly what you want to happen, then stop and read it. If you still feel that what you want to happen is fair then post it here (What are you honestly looking for the school to pay for your house with wheels?).

I have a serious problem here and all I am getting is rude comments
and made fun of.
What do I want?
I want whatever I can Legally get.
If I can get them to pay for my house legally
I want that too of course.
I feel like I am the victim here and they lied to me
about the school district laws and they are showing favor
to others. The others are there illegally, so I believe something can be done
Legally against them and the school for breaking school district laws.
I know the law is on my side in this
and I'll use it to the best of my advantage.
I wanted to explore the Legal options here
Since this is a Legal Forum.

No one was making fun of you. But it would help to know why the school district made a point of checking your residence - my guess is that you made yourself a bit of a pain, so they decided they were going to make sure taht the kids were in the right school.

Many school districts (where there is no school choice), have a policy (note, a policy is not a LAW) that you must live within certain boundaries to attend a certain school. That can be enforced strictly, or more loosely, and exceptions can always be made. When you're looking for an exception to be made for yourself, it's usually a *really* good idea to be nothing but fawning to the powers that be.

Sometimes kids are grandfathered in for a period of time, if district lines have been redrawn. Sometimes the kids are given a choice if they're in the last year or two at a particular school (even elementary). Sometimes someone moves out of district and neglects to inform the school. It happens. But if the district had to verify EVERY child's residence, I can guarantee that the district would soon be among the worse ones around - because there just isn't the money to do that. So they tend to only do so with people who've managed to rile everyone up. As, I suspect, you may have.

As for what you're likely to "get" from the district? Probably nothing. They're not going to pay for your house. They may make a show of enforcing the policy more strictly (and hence, expect to find yourself and your kids with plenty of enemies around town & in school).
