What is the name of your state? Michigan

Can a person file a suit against you for putting a lien on property if it isn't their's? I have never heard a law against placing a lien on property if someone owe's you money.
This person filed bankruptcy 7 and put all his property and assets into his mother's name. I have a suit against the mother. I filed a lien against the property that is now (hidden) in her name. But he is the one filing the suit against me. It isn't even in his name although i know it is his. Thanks

**A: the answer to your confusing post is yes. And anyone can file a lawsuit against anyone for any reason.
