What is the name of your state? washington
I posted a question (On 6/30) about buying a house from 1 brother & he said he owed his brother (Don) $7500.00, He didn't pay Don, instead he cancelled the check & got cash. Now I found out Don has a lien on the place. I didn't do an excrow check. An I liable for the additional $7500? I didn't see anywhere that my question was answered before.

Yes, as SJ noted, but then you could go and sue the other brother for the $7500.
