What is the name of your state? IL

This question is about life after filing Ch. 7. I filed almost a year ago and want to get a c card. I am terrified of being turned down and I don't know which lender I should approach. I was going to go with Chase but it said I had to have a history free of Bankruptcy.

Anyone have any advice on who to go with and what type of interest I should expect. I'm told a credit union might be best and I happen to bank with one but I'm worried how my history will affect things. (They are offering a rate of 9.80%)

Looking to hear ppl's expereince with this and get advice. Thanks

Try Cap1, HSBC, Juniper, Hooters... go to crediboards.com for additional ones... Remmeber though that the interest will vary anywhere from %10-20 and start you out with a limit of around $300... It's to beexpected, but if you play your cards right, always pay on time, low utilization, etc. you will see an improvement in the limit and the interest...
