My husband bought a condo in NY & put inhis son's name (from a prior marriage) for estate purposes. I'd like to continue to live in the condo if my husband sould pre-decease me. I'd pay rent to cover all expenses including the mortgage. I'd also like the right to buy the condo from his son at any time after his death at a fixed price. Can I drae this up myself? Can you help with wording of the agreement? Many thanks,
MJL

We can't help you with the wording at this site because then we would be practicing law without being licensed in that state. I myself am licensed only in CA. More importantly, what you want done is not just a real estate document, but involves estate planning issues. So you and your husband should both have a will, and a revocable living trust. You should hire a wills/trusts/estate planning attorney near you to do the work for you. You can find one at attorneypages.
