my mother lives in our guest house on our property, she is only responsible for utility bills pertaining to her house, she pays no rent. she is not listed on our deed as a life tenant, her name does not appear at all on our deed, but we have a written agreement that says she can live here forever, it is not noterized nor did a witness verify the signatures. I was told by a lawyer i could have her evicted because she is infact not on the deed. what is the normal procedure for something like this? and what time frame are we looking at? and what is the usual cost to have her evicted? thank you, diane

Do I understand that you are asking what is the "normal" procedure and cost of evicting one's own mother when you have a written agreement that says she can live there forever?

well if your mother is a really POOR person.....no cash no life insurance, no other property, NOTHIN....then who cares if she writes you out of her will...right?

I'm with you unless she sold her propety and gave you your down payment and YOU never paid her back....Then I would tell you youre an IDIOT for treating your mother like that....

So....What is she doing with her SS or pension money? Blowing it on Bingo?

Damn... she should be paying you rent like anyone else in life!
