I cancelled a life insurance policy that I had back in July 2002. After several calls to my insurance agent, they finally discovered that I didn't sign a form to stop the automatic deductions from my checking account. They are still deducting the monthly premium for the cancelled policy almost a year later. Once I sign the form (I have to be late for work in order to get to their office), don't they have to refund the amount paid since the date I cancelled the policy?
