What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN

Can a spouse who pleads guilty to Vehicular Homicide Driver Intoxication claim the benefits of his spouse's life insurance that died in the accident?

I haven't look to see if Tennessee prohibits such a claim but most of the laws I am aware of that would disallow such a claim require the crime to be intentional. If that can be stretched to include intentionally becoming intoxicated which resulted in the death, I do not know but I would think general use of intentional would be limited to intentionally causing the death and not just that an act leading to the death was intentional.
