What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? CALIFORNIA

Hi, I hope someone can answer my question. I am a newbie here.
I am female and married already and am still using my single last name or they call it "maiden name" (last name when i was still single). All my identifications that i have are all in my single last name, i.e. Social security ID, passport, driver's license, etc. We could not really tell our future and what is ahead of us, you know, so here is my question. In the event of loss of my spouse/husband, will i get some trouble in making an insurance claim bec my identifications are still in my single name but what is written in the policy...(i am the beneficiary), my lastname is different, which is my husband's last name.
Is a marriage certificate an enough proof to prove that i am marriage to him?
Thank you for helping.

Everything is fine. It just it may be a hassle in having to provide documents and explanations in the event of a claim.
