Father named sons A and B beneficiaries to 500K policy. Father then assigns policy to both sons. Son B wants to convert the one policy into two policies, A & B each owning a 250K policy and each being the beneficiary and owner. A does not want to convert. Can B force the issue? THe sons are having to continue to pay the premimums.

This is a question you should be asking the agent who sold the policies or by contacting the insurance company directly. If sons are no longer willing to pay the premiums on this policy, they might be able to cash it in.
