What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? kentucky

if a person had a life insurance policy ,
with one son as sole beneficuary , must
the proceeds from that policy be used
to pay the debts of the estate

and sence the administrator did not collect
the life insuance(it was paid directly to the son)
funds are they included in the inventory of the estate
thanks

No, the money belongs strictly to the beneficiary and does not need to be used to pay off estate debts. If that was the only policy and is the only asset of the estate however, it would be nice for the beneficiary to offer to pay a portion of the debts. Is not included in estate inventory.
