What is the name of your state? Maryland
me and my late husband were living together and married with two children. When he passed away unexpectintly we found out that he named some other girl as his beneficary on his life insurance policy. Therefore we were stuck with all of his burial bills. I wanted to know if there was anything I could do. or if it was legal for him to do that. also at this time the policy has been paid out to that other person. Thankyou for your time.

Unless Maryland has a law requiring that a spouse receive at least partial benefits, there's nothing you can do. Check with the state insurance commission to see if such a state law exists.
