What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

If a beneficiary is named on a life insurance policy, are there any types fo debt that can be garnished from the beneficiary?

Sure, if the creditor knows you are getting some money and goes to court to attach a lien to the payment. Any type of debt could be collected in that manner.
