My husband was married before and had a child with his ex-wife. Sadly, his son died unpectadly at the age of four. I should tell you that he and his ex-wife do not get a long at all. Is there a way he can find out if the child had any life insurance? (She's threatening to give him half of the funeral bill, but we suspect it was covered by some life insurance policy.)

What if he did? I can't see how that should be relevant unless he paid for the insurance in whole or in part.
