My father issued a life policy on june 06, 2003. He passed away on December
17, 2004, he named my mother and i as beneficiaries and we fill out the claim
form on may 24, 2004.
The insurance company finish an investigation because they said the death ocurred within "the 2 year contestable period" (I read the policy and never
mencioned any contestable period).
How much time we have to wait to know if they are goin to pay or denied
the claim?
Please help with these.

The insurance carrier can take as long as they wish to review the claim. During that time the proceeds are accumulating interest that will eventually be paid along with the face amount assuming the claim is approved.

Read the policy again. The incontestable clause is in there.
