Can I still sell my house?

I am trying to sell my house in Florida but a lis pendons is on my house from my ex-husbands atty(we are still not legally divorced yet, no one can find him.). When I purchased the home (with my own money) my ex said "he wants nothing to do with the house" So I purchesed and paid the mortage and taxes, fixed it up and we lived in it for aprx 2 years until and ugly dispute happened and we no longer were together. Its now 4 years later and the lis pendons is 3 years old. My question is #1) Is there a a limited time that lis pendon is good if no action has been taken one way or another(statute of limitations I think its called) #2) Can he claim part of the property , the propert is in only my name ,which is my orginal name,( I never swiched it over when we were married.) And what is the Procedure to remove the lis pendon? Can I still sell my house without my ex signing because he is not on the deed?
