I moved out of my rental unit and wrote them a letter in an 8 day period. Stating the room was not in accordance with health and safety regulations. I looked through the states tenant landlord handbook and cherry picked relavent statements.

I see that part of your original post has been edited.

In your next post, can you please include the name of your state and the question you have about (I assume) the condition of your apartment which led to your move?
