I have been living with a man for 10 years. He acts like he wants me out, what rights do I have? We have a business together and a vehicle with both names on it, among other properties. No children together. Please give me some advice. We live in Florida. Thank you, wispurr3

My response:

You are not protected by any marital laws - - so that's out.

You're only recourse is to sue your boyfriend for "Partition" of the business and the various properties, unless the two of you can agree on a fair division of these assets; e.g., one buys the other out.
