I'm a physician in solo practice, not incorporated, about to form an LLC with 24 other physicians. It involves buying a building to practice in and the land the building sits on. Will my wife of 15 years, who is NOT on title to my medical practice, have to sign a quitclaim or the equivalent to satisfy the lender, the LLC or anyone else? If I were to incorporate before forming the LLC, would it make any difference to the need for my wife to quitclaim? Thanks
