Georgia,Stockbridge- our local government eminet domained our home. We have an attorney but are having trouble getting our moving expenses paid.
Our lawyer said he was not sure if the local government had to pay moving expenses. Since my husband and I are both handicapped we need complete moving service,(packing etc.). We have also decided to move to another state to be near our daughter. If you know of such a law could you give me the number so I may pass it on to my lawyer. Thank you so much for any help.

**A: there is no such law. The GA condemnation law of eminent domain requires just compensation (market value of the real property) for the taking.
