What is the name of your state? Virginia
We have court scheduled next week for child support to be established on my 10 year old. Her father has never paid support; given there was a decree in place that stated no support to be paid, and if so, I had to repay. Judge stated in 2004 that I couldn't give away cs because it didn't belong to me.

Previously while in court, ex has lied about many things. INcluding that child is not an epiletic and doesn't require medication.

I have had a private investigator search for emloyer and income records for 2006. My attorney has called this employer to verify that and subpoena records, and is being told he never worked there in 2006. She is now trying other locations for his employment within the same company.

If he's not working, am I correct in that VA will impute his income from last year possibly? I'm self employed and will be providing all documentation needed from me. Health insurance? That is provided by me at the cost of $265 a month. I'm in the process of contacting other companies for quotes or denials--given her health issues.

Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
