Okay, I haven't been able to pay the rent this month, and my landlord has padlocked the doors to the trailer I live in without telling me he was going to do it, thus locking all my personal belongings in where I can't get to them. He says he will not open the doors for me unless I pay up. And get this: I live in a small town, and the Sheriff supposedly told him it was okay to do this.
Can he do this, and what am I supposed to do to get my stuff back?
