I am eventually going to try to start up an online website dealing with sports nutrition. I've designed my logo character that I want to use from scratch (its an original drawing I've done). It is simple, it is a musclar cartoon figure with a triangle in the background. I want to copyright this, and eventually trademark it once I get some more money. When I submit the drawing, should it be in black and white only? It currently has some color. Also should I take out the triangle background? I don't want anybody to simply take my guy and take out the triangle and replace it with another shape. Or would my guy and triangle copyright protect my guy alone as well?
