I recently moved from Colorado to Florida. Upon vacating my apartment in Colorado I had the landlord do a walk-thru. I wanted to ensure we were on the same page and that I would get all my security back. At that time everything was fine. She insisted that I had to wait 60 days (according to the lease) until she would mail it to me. Now that I am over 2,000 miles away she won't return the deposit. I have written her trying to rectify this-but received no response. Is there a way to sue her in small claims long distance? Is there an e-court or internet type court? Thanks for any advice you can give. This is a great service!!!

Q1) "Is there a way to sue her in small claims long distance?"
A1) Nope. You would have to return to Colorado to pursue a lawsuit against the former landlord.

Q2) "Is there an e-court or internet type court?"
A2) Only this one here, and our judgments aren't binding!!
Seriously, due to jurisdictional and interstate issues, there is no 'national' e-court. (And even a federal lawsuit would have to be heard in Colorado).
