What is the name of your state? TX

I had a CA call me and do the whole threaten thing. Deal is they are trying to collect on a debt that is in dispute with all three CRA's. Nevertheless, I want to send a validation letter but have no address and I sure as heck don't want to call them back. Anybody ever heard of this company? On my credit report they are called "collection corp" and the only number I have is 1-877-433-7010. Help? P.S.- These guys pulled my credit and never sent me a letter giving me the traditional 30 days for a dispute.

Dispute something with experian. Odds are they will verify the information even if it erronious, but they will provide you with a # for an online report. Log on using that # and they will probably have the address information you are seeking.

Just because you are disputing this debt, it will not stop the collection calls unless the debt holder recalls the item from collections.

If you have not resolved this with the company you owe, the item will continue to appear on your credit report, unless the agencies refuse to post it due to some knowledge they have of the company.

If it is a valid dispute, and can't be resolved, file a small claims actions against the company you owe. This will either force them to deal with you, or the courts, but, you must determine what damages you'll sue them for.

Deal with the company, not the credit reporting agencies or the collection agency.
