I work at an animal shelter in the front office. 40 hours per week. Job requires me to clean cages of animals present in the office area only. I am now expecting a baby and can not clean the feline cages. This is about a 30 minute job. My employer has now cut my hours in half because I can't do all my duties causing me to lose my medical insurance since you must be employed full time to get them. Is this cut in hours legal? What should I do?
