My husband of 16 years has walked out and wants a divorce. I have been disabled for 12 years and do not want to loose him. He is being influenced by another women and I want to stop her. Can I sue her for loss of Consortium???? I live in Wisconsin.

My response:

Unfortunately, Wisconsin does not recognize such Causes of Action as "Alienation of Affection". Loss of Consortium is the loss of love, work, and companionship by one spouse when the other is injured, like in a car accident.

Good luck to you.
