What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Indiana
Is it legal to take Personal Representation from a family and give to an ex-wife of the PR if there are other living children of the deceased that could have been appointed PR and they were not notified of Personal Representation being taken away?

It doesn't really matter who the PR is, since they are going to have to divide up the estate according to the law.

Loss of PR

PR can be taken away from immediate family members and turned over to someone who was only a part of the family by marriage, who was no longer a family member when my mother passed? So there is nothing the other 5 of us children can do to over turn a total stranger who knew nothing of my mothers affairs did nothing to take care of the selling of her home, personal
belongings ect... from remaining the PR of her estate? We haven't heard anything more about anything to do with the estate since DEC 2004? Isn't there something we can do?
