What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
A month ago I lost my job. Then I find out my mortgage payment went up because of property taxes rising, so my monthly chap 13 bankruptcy payment is increasing $172.00 more. I have a part time job now and am about to start another part time job soon. Anyway I have one more year on my bankruptcy plan. I do not want to give up my house but I am afraid they will take it away if I get too far behind on my payments. What are my options?

Contact your lawyer and see if it's possible to modify your plan.
In the meantime, keep looking for work.

And if you have trouble contacting your atty, contact the trustee directly and let him/her know of your situation. Doing nothing is a sure way to get your case dismissed.
