i live in the state of maryland. my sister and son were traveling to sc via greyhound bus and upon arrival they found out that all of their luggage was lost. well greyhound subsequently paid us $250 combined for all of the luggage. They have a disclaimer on the back of the ticket stating that they are liable for loss or damaged baggage to a value not to exceed $250/ adult fare. can we sue b/c we had more than $250 worth of items in the luggage, more like $2000 worth of clothes, shoes, and etc. also what if our luggage was stolen as opposed to lost or damaged are they liable then. also can i sue for punitive damages b/c we were put under a lot of stress among other aggravations b/c i sent all of my 2 year old's clothing and weeks went by before i could replenish his wardrobe. please help.
thanks, aliyah
