I work for a company in Texas with head quarters in Denver. The company recently down sized and relocated some of it’s production line here in Texas to another area. My section stayed here in Texas.
Shortly after this event the company came out with a new employee hand book, the company did not have one before.

Now to the problem in the new hand book it was stated that all employees with excessive vacation time would lose that excess time. No chance to use it, no payout on the excess time. Poof gone. I personally lost 12 days of time and that amounts to almost 1,600.00. I know other employees lost even more time.

Am I getting ripped of here? Where do I stand?????? Do I have any recourse to force the company to reimburse me for this lost time?
