Named exec. declined 9 months after death and never notified
anyone, named exec. never filed for admin. Other relative took
over, filed for admin. 11 months after death. We filed against it,
our attorney put in writing we were going for lost will and the
judge gave other relative the special adm. position because of
that. We had not decided on lost will position, but this fore warning has really hurt us now. Was that appropriate? We have
spent $10,000 on our attorney and nothing has changed. Person
who filed for admin. represented she was administrator for
7 months-we didnt know she wasnt. Special adm. told to
liquidate estate-we have asked our attorney for 3 months if
creditors notice done by administrator and stock accts. liquid-
he says he doesnt know? Is that appropriate? Deb
