MA.

I live in MA and have a question about LTD benefits.

My company offers LTD (company paid) at 50% of salary. I also pay for an additional 16.67%. I pay for the 16.67% in after tax dollars which makes the benefit non taxable.

Is there any regulation in MA which governs whether I can work a part time job and have it not interfere with my LTD benefit? I work on my feet 10 hours a day but my knees are bad which will force me to go out on LTD but I would be able to work at a job sitting down which my company does not offer. Is there a % of my salary which I can earn w/out affecting the LTD?

thanks in advance
