CA - Are there any laws pertaining to having a place to eat at your workplace?
We are not allowed to eat on the premises - anywhere.

Are there any laws pertaining to having a place to eat at your workplace? California *might* be one of a very few States that require an employer to provide a break room but I'm not aware of anything that requires an employer to allow employees to eat on site, even if a break/rest area is provided.
