I have had temporary custody of my children one 15 and the other is 10 years old for over a year now.
The mother has no visitation order to see the children,so therefore all she does is talk to them on the phone.
She has told these kids so many lies and been caught at them it's unreal but I have just over looked them until now
My son called her the other day and she told him that she just left the hospital and his girlfriend was dying of cancer he ask his mom for her room # and she told him she could not have calls and he started crying so I hung up the phone and me and my son called the girls mother and she had no idle what we were talking about the girl is away at bootcamp.
My son called his mom back to ask her why she told him that and she hung up on him.
I,m not allowing the kids to talk to her anymore not until we go to court for custody.I do know the court is not going to like the fact that I stopped the calls but I cant let her play with there mind anymore. The question is can I ask the court for to get help before she talks or sees the children and how do you think the will look at this? Please I need all the advice I can get.

Unfortuantely, you cannot record the conversation between the child and the other parent. But since the one child is of age enought to state what was said, have him document the conversations.

It should be his decision as to whether or not to talk to his mom. Have your son take control of the phone calls with my by telling her he wil not put up with anymore lies from her. Have him tell her how much she's hurt him.

Depending on what your son tells the court, they may not allow her to talk to the child via phone. But if she has no contact with the children, this may be considered Parental alienation. So be careful!

Consult an attorney in your area.
