Is there anything legally wrong with having lyrics on my webpage? I'm considering including them and wanted to see what I would be allowed to do. If I can have lyrics would it be okay to have an image of the the album cover also? Also could I include streaming audio of the music. I'm not sure what I plan to do, I just want to see what I can legally do before I decide.

I am no attorney but I know for a fact that the music industry has gone after sites for posting lyrics. There use to be a site called lyrics.com but they were shut down by the music industry.

This is why you have to pay for sheet music.
