What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WI

This is definately a federal issue, since it involves mail.

Lately, I have been going 3 or 4 days in a row without getting any mail. This includes days when certain sale papers and other promotions come on a regular basis. I've been watching lately as the mailman just drives past my mailbox without delivering anything, and then stops at my neighbor's house and delivers the regular sale papers that I normally should be getting. I can understand not getting mail on some days, but not 3 or 4 days in a row on a regular basis. Especially when the day's mail includes circulars and promotions that are sent to everyone.

It also appears that it's one certain mail carrier that's doing this. When an alternate carrier does the route, I get mail every time. It happened again yesterday when those circulars were being delivered to my neighbors, so I called the post office and reported what was going on. The carrier supervisor I talked to said he'd look into it and call me back the next day. I haven't gotten a call yet, but watched once again as the same mail carrier passed by my house, and then passed by all of my neighbors' houses after mine. That makes 4 houses in a row he didn't deliver to this time. This is the first time I ever saw him not stop at each mailbox, let alone not stop at 4 in a row (beginning with mine), and I've been living here for the past 10 years. I can't help but think it had something to do with my call to his supervisor, since he never did this before, unless it's just a huge coincidence.

Is there any way for me to prove any wrongdoing here? Could there be any federal laws that are in violation since it involves the mail service?

File a complaint with the postmaster at your particular post office. If that doesn't work, you can contact the Postmaster Inspector General's office and I've found they're pretty good at acting on/redirecting the complaint to the appropriate acting agency. You can find the IG contact information on the USPS.COM website.

Thanks! I'll look into doing that.

My Dad used to work for the post office, and is now retired. He told me that I need to be careful not to make enemies with the mailman since they are union workers. But he's not exactly a "friend" if he's not going to deliver my mail either.

He might be a union worker if he is a government employee. He may also be a mail contractor. Lots of problems with private contractor performance, the USPS is used to it.
