i moved to colorado a yr ago last sept with my husband to try and work things out again, it never did work and i moved back to canada in june, i was recentky back down there getting my belongings when hge served me with divorcer papers. I have talked to lawyers in canada and they all tell me i need an american lawyer cuz he served me in the usa, but we r both canadian citizens, hes down there working still. how do i go about maintenace even though i live in canada nad getting divorced in colorado? we have 5 kids together and he isnt paying for anything right now and i am working 2 jobs just to support my kids and their activities!! I really need help with this please! any information would be greatly appreciated!!!
